Fitbit Charge Not Counting Floors

Fitbit charge not counting floors.

Your device registers 1 floor when you climb about 10 feet or 3 meters. I was not carrying anything. I normally do around 40 60 floors a day and no i m lucky if it registers 1. Your device uses it s altimeter to detect variance in altitude.

This story happened to me in 2015 while wearing a fitbit charge hr fitness tracker. No steps at all. Last count almost 160 floors. I have a samsung s10 phone.

I walked today did aerobics and housework. Sometimes if i went up in an elevator i got credit for more floors. That was some weeks ago and i ve had no other problems since then. It will count 1 floor for every 10 ft it detects you climbed.

I have tried restarting it numerous times but my fitbit still won t count floors. There is not a way to delete this inaccurate information either. Is anyone else experiencing this. Your device uses changes in barometric pressure combined with the steps you take to calculate floors climbed.

Not all flights are the same height or distance so if the flight you climbed is less than 10 feet you may find that the device s floor count doesn t exactly match how many floors you climbed.
