The firebug must be disciplined and use as little ammunition killing their targets as possible to avoid running out of fuel or other ammunition.
As all the information i ve found online is older i d like to start this thread to get share some input from by fellow firebug players.
Firebug skill choices let them focus on either killing zeds faster.
Avoid mac 10 worst firebug weapon dragonsbreath not very good either and flamethrowers because they re boring as and you can just kill all zeds from range before they even get close anyway.
For this damage the trench gun trades out the high mag size and ammo reserve and the afterburn potential of the caulk n burn and the flamethrower.
Being a flame weapons specialist the firebug sets multiple zeds on fire at time making them suffer from the damage over time stumbling and forcing them to panic which effectively decreases overall threat of the enemy crowd flame weapons of the firebug provide a wide variety of ways to apply the damage.

Difficulty is hell on earth with 6 players.
Skills 18 25 l the increased damage is great and ammo isn t an issue r the increase groundfire.
I m currently level 18 and maining the firebug.
Firebug is easy to pick up and even easier to up.
Veterans of killing floor might remember this weapon being what was essentially a pump action shotgun that only fired dragon s breath rounds when fired by the firebug.
It s a ton of fun and really the only perk i can have fun with although i do enjoy the zerker slightly.

This took awhile sorry about that i got lazy over the holidays but it s finally here.
The incendiary trench gun mixes up the traditional firebug arms by adding spikes of damage allowing the firebug to clear medium threats like sirens if a different perk is incapable of doing so.
